GENERAL COACHING PROGRAM AGREEMENT FOR SISTERS

1. CONTEXT

The Global Sisters Business Coaching Program is designed to be a hands-on relationship, supporting Sisters (Members of Global Sisters) to overcome specific business challenges which lead to business outcomes. It’s about setting and achieving business goals and the practical assistance needed to fast-track the business development process and it’s about building capacity.

We expect this to happen through a sharing of knowledge, skills, contacts, networks and expertise. 

2. EXPECTATIONS AND LIMITATIONS

The Business Coaching Program can include: goal setting and sharing knowledge, expertise and skills; with deliverables or outcomes you agree to achieve together and/or, connecting, opening up networks and opportunities. The scope is reflected in Section 6 of this agreement. 

The Sister has full responsibility for making her own business decisions. Business Coaches only offer support and options for Sisters to consider. Global Sisters and Business Coaches cannot be held responsible for the business decisions made by the Sisters in relation to the Sisters’ business choices.

The Coach and Sister acknowledge and agree that Global Sisters is not responsible for the acts and omissions of the Coach, Service Provider or Sister.

3. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE BUSINESS COACH AND SISTER

  1. Participate in the induction program provided by Global Sisters
  2. Understand and comply with Global Sisters’ Sister Code. 
  3. Take all reasonable practicable steps to ensure their own safety and the safety of others. This includes ensuring that both online and face to face meetings between the Business Coach and Sister occur in a suitable location. Global Sisters recommends that meetings take place in a public location or on a reputable and secure online platform. 
  4. Notify the Global Sisters of any hazardous situations which pose a risk to their safety or the safety of others and report to Global Sisters any safety incidents.
  5. Behave professionally and courteously, reflecting good business practice, towards Business Coaches, Sisters, Global Sisters staff and members of the public with whom they may have contact during the program.
  6. Be on time to meetings and offer 24 hours notice if there is the need to cancel an appointment/meeting
  7. Notify Global Sisters if they are no longer able to participate in the program.
  8. Respect the privacy of both the Sister and Business Coach in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 and keep confidential all ‘Confidential Information’. This means all information is trusted between the Business Coach and Sisters in relation to personal information, trade secrets, technical information concerning products, manufacturing processes, information concerning Global Sisters’ business and any other information which is not in the public domain.
  9. Protect their own personal property. Global Sisters will not be responsible for any lost, damaged or stolen personal property during the Sister and Business Coach meetings.
  10. Participate in all identity verification checks and background security checks (police checks) required prior to their commencement in the Program. You will be notified by Global Sisters if this is required. 

4. FINE PRINT

The Business Coach or Sister must not, in any circumstances: offer any financial support including financial gifts or finance loans of any amount; offer any technology by way of a gift or loan such as computers, mobile phones or any other device; offer financial services or products including credit cards or debit cards.

Each party to this agreement acknowledges and agrees that all Intellectual Property created as a result of, or in connection with this agreement and the Program, will vest in and are assigned to the party of its creation. ‘Intellectual Property’ includes patents, copyrights, registered designs, trademarks and the right to have Confidential Information kept confidential; and any application or right to apply for registration of any of those rights.

5. COMMUNICATION

The method and frequency of communication is defined by the program. Should there be deviation from this it will be only in special circumstances, or unless otherwise agreed.

WE AGREE TO COMMUNICATE VIA THE FOLLOWING METHOD: By agreement between Coach and Sister. Global Sisters suggests secure Video Conference links, for example Zoom. Please use the form of communication preferred by the Coach. 

THE FREQUENCY OF COMMUNICATION WILL BE: Dependent on the program. For First 10 Customers Program, fortnightly sessions for 12 weeks. For other one-on-one coaching, to be agreed as offered by the Coach.  

SOCIAL MEDIA: It is acceptable for the Coach and Sister to follow and like each other’s professional business accounts on Social Media. If relevant, it is encouraged to do so.

Should you wish to post, re-post or tag one another on Social Media, this must be clearly agreed on beforehand. If one does not wish this to happen, the other party must honour that preference.

6. SCOPE

The coaching agreement is a fixed term agreement with the scope of work, deliverables and timeframe as outlined by the defined Program, agreed upon between the coach, Global Sisters and the Sister.

FIRST 10 CUSTOMERS PROGRAM

OUTCOME: To gain momentum in the early stages of business 
DELIVERABLE OR SESSION DETAILS: 7 x one-on-one coaching session
PRO BONO VALUE: $1400
SISTER COMMITMENT: To participate fully in the First 10 Customers Program 
PROJECT TIMING: 12 weeks

OTHER ONE-ON-ONE COACHING

OUTCOME: To be determined on a case by case basis 
DELIVERABLE OR SESSION DETAILS: To be determined on a case by case basis 
PRO BONO VALUE: $200 – $10,000 dependant on agreement
SISTER COMMITMENT: To complete pre-work and attendance at booked appointments
PROJECT TIMING: As booked
