Family Law & Protecting Your Business

Navigating Family Law Changes and Protecting Your Business
TeamGS_Lauren · June 19, 2025

Running a small business is challenging, particularly if you are also managing a relationship breakdown. Family law matters are stressful and decisions made during that process can impact your business and ongoing financial stability.

With substantial amendments to the Family Law Act coming into effect on 10 June 2025, which mandate a consideration of how family violence has impacted a person’s ability to make financial and non-financial contributions, it’s crucial to understand how these changes will impact you.

Join us for an informative event led by Katie Burreket, Accredited Family Law Specialist from Broun Abrahams Burreket Lawyers. This session is designed to provide a clear overview of the recent legal reforms and practical strategies to help you protect your business interests during family law proceedings.

Please Note: This workshop will provide general information and is not intended as specific legal advice.

Empower yourself with knowledge and practical tools to navigate the complexities of family law while protecting the business you’ve worked hard to build.
