Many women in our community are looking for ways to build more ethical, sustainable and purpose-led practices into their businesses — but knowing where to start can be challenging, particularly when you’re running a small business with limited time and resources.
In this session, we’ll be joined by Angela, Founder of Worthy, to explore how small businesses can make more thoughtful choices across their supply chains and day-to-day operations.
Angela will share practical ideas for improving sustainability in areas such as sourcing, suppliers, materials, packaging and purchasing, as well as sharing her own experience of setting up and growing a social enterprise. We’ll hear about the realities of building a business with social and environmental impact at its core, including some of the challenges and lessons Angela has learned along the way.
This session is for women who are thinking about starting a social enterprise, as well as those who want to build more ethical and sustainable practices into an existing business model. Whether you’re just getting started or looking for practical ways to do better, you’ll leave with ideas you can take back to your business and put into practice.
