Neurodivergent Minds 11 months agoThanks for having me here. I’m late diagnosed ADHD and after a long career in social worker I’m at a crossroad and struggle with decision making, starting too many projects, self-trust, imposter syndrome and executive function challenges and blah blah blah. I have a few ideas in my head about what I want to do and a burning desire to establish…

Love hearing @RenShiv how you pivoted to Indian influenced textile products. Finding something that supports your nervous support, while you recalibrate from burn out, sounds like a good fit. I have found just getting started with cashflow generating ideas that are within easy and effortless/support my nervous system, helps me then take the…

Thanks Janelle, that’s good advice. My brain does keep going to the idea creation and I have to really work at sticking to my first goal of finishing my first products and selling them. And of course lots of imposter syndrome, self-doubt etc.

Neurodivergent Minds a year agoHello Everyone- Just to let you know that we are taking a short break with the Body Doubling session on Monday and will resume our next Body Doubling Session on 7th July! See you there

Thanks @TeamGS_Jo – I appreciate the updated body doubling program format, with sessions scheduled for every fortnight & the dates known in advance. It DOES help reduce the “mind traffic”, and the reminders are super handy.
As often ends up happening, I looked forward to today’s session, I started getting my physical environment ready last…

Hi Nancy, you might be interested in checking out the work they’ve done over in New Zealand. They created a glossary called “Te Reo Hāpai – The Language of Enrichment”. They define autism as “takiwatanga”, meaning in his or her own time and space.

In a long stage of burnout still but managed to get on today and listen to the marketing session today, so happy about that. Trying to find that balance so that I can start on improving. Finally got my NDIS plan today though, so hopefully that will help.

Neurodivergent Minds a year ago✨ COLD MORNINGS, WARM CONNECTIONS
How I got more done in 50 minutes than I usually do in 3 hours.
After what felt like forever, Perth’s finally had some rain the last couple of days 🌧️
And the cold snap has well and truly arrived.Perfect doona weather — and I’ve even blocked out Wednesday morning to do exactly that as part of my self-care plan.…
