Neurodivergent Minds a year agoThe weekend is coming and so is November ( how did that happen?) share your wins here- whether big or small! Let us celebrate youwith you (and piggy back on your endorphin train) and know that we are not alone on this journey even though some days can be tough, the wins make it all worth while so lets get them out here in the ether so we…

A weird but important personal win for me this week. 🌱
I put an imperfect idea out there and asked for feedback from someone I trust—inviting them to pick it apart was tough. It felt a bit like asking someone to explain every possible way my “baby” was ugly, and then trying to keep a brave face (and not cry). 😅
It really triggered my…

This may seem a strange one but my win this week is accepting that I will not be able to get products finished for the end of year sales rush and deciding to restart my business early next year instead. I am still not back on my feet and if I tried to push myself I would do more harm than good. I am trying to restart my business in a way that…

Neurodivergent Minds a year agoHey everyone, just checking in to see how we’re all chugging along? I’ve been pretty quiet as I fear I’m on the verge of burnout again so trying to rest as my body is making noises that its not happy, blood pressure up, fatigue and pain levels high etc Having an in home sleep study done this evening done too as sleep is another thing…

I hope the sleep study gives you some helpful insights. That’s been on my “to explore with my GP” list too, but right now it’s in the “too hard, maybe later” pile.
I love the infographics you created! They break everything down in such a clear, approachable way. To me, the whole vibe feels like community, creativity, and warmth. 🌈💛

Neurodivergent Minds a year agoOne of our fabulous sisters Paris, is featured in a short film that is being screened at the Ritz Cinemas (for our Sydney sisters) next Thursday and we thought there might be some sisters out there interested in getting along (and to supporting Paris!). It’s a short film exploring the inflexible nature of the algorithms used by Government…

Neurodivergent Minds a year agoADHD fail of the day. I didn’t remember clocks have changed in some states as I’m in Brisbane and thought the 90 Days planning would be starting now at 12pm but no, totally missed it. My brain can’t compute the whole AEST/AEDT and all the rest of the world time differences anyway- so confusing. It is the absolute story of my life, …

Neurodivergent Minds a year agoI’m just listening to the Neurodivergent Woman podcast, it’s awesome if you haven’t heard it (run by two psychologists from Brisbane, one ND, one NT). The episode is on ‘Entrepreneurship and Neurodivergence with Dr Hayley Kelly’ and is well worth a listen- talks about imposter syndrome, inner critic, self-doubt. Gives advice like finding…
