Neurodivergent Minds a year agoI’m just listening to the Neurodivergent Woman podcast, it’s awesome if you haven’t heard it (run by two psychologists from Brisbane, one ND, one NT). The episode is on ‘Entrepreneurship and Neurodivergence with Dr Hayley Kelly’ and is well worth a listen- talks about imposter syndrome, inner critic, self-doubt. Gives advice like finding…

Neurodivergent Minds a year agoOn the note of spoons and burnout. Does anyone have any great tips for staying within your spoons but still managing to do something in your business. I so wanted to make up some gift boxes by the end of October but I am really struggling at the moment. I am at the want to do it but am unable to get out of the chair due to exhaustion and my…

It sometimes works for me to break down bigger jobs into tiny ‘bits’ or 5-10 min duration bits which I do during ads on tv or with a timer. Could you move a small supply for gift boxes next to your chair and just do a bit at a time? Drinking lots of water seems to help too – I just wish I could keep on top of it!

Thanks Shar, I am thinking a timer and alarm may be necessary for sure. It takes a bit to get my head around after years of getting lost in tasks but doing the same thing and expecting a different result may just be one of the most insane things I am in the habit of doing and something that is one of the first things I need to change.
